Today we had the opportunity of attending the graveside service for a wonderful man - Uncle Keith. He was 65 years old and had had a long battle with cancer.
The weather was lovely with just a bit of a breeze - the sun was shining on our shoulders making us feel warm. That's how you always felt around Uncle Keith - warm and good. He had a talent for making people feel special.
This was my view for awhile. Baby got a little restless and vocal during Uncle Blaine's dedication of the grave so we backed up a little to keep it reverent. We started with the song "Families Can Be Together Forever". Uncle Keith's bishop (Tyler) conducted, Uncle Glenn gave a short history of Uncle Keith, and then there was a beautiful musical number by . . .
. . . Richie and three of his brothers. They sang "Each Life That Touches Ours for Good". It really was wonderful!!!

I love this picture. We were in the car ready to leave, the coffin had been lowered, and Uncle Keith's son was the last one there at the graveside, with his wife there for support.
Some wonderful Relief Society sisters then provided a luncheon for us - Funeral Potatoes are the best!
At the church there was a bulletin board full of pictures of Uncle Keith.

Back at the cemetary, we took a moment for our girls to visit . . .
. . . the graves of their great grandparents, Bill and Jennie.
It was delightful today to spend time with family. And to remember that through temple sealings, families can indeed be together forever. So, though we may be separated from our loved ones for a season, we will be together for eternity. Seriously, what could be more delightful than that?
